Keith MacGillivray MBE

Keith MacGillivray is Chief Executive of the British Automatic Fire Sprinkler Association (BAFSA) and a passionate campaigner for automatic fire sprinklers. During the last 15 years he has successfully campaigned
for sprinklers to be fitted in residential care homes, schools and dwelling houses in Scotland. Keith has a fire service background, completing 34 years’ service as Assistant Chief in Strathclyde Fire and Rescue and Chief Advisor on Fire Services to Scottish
Government.

He is also a one-time National Chairman of the Fire Fighters Charity and was awarded the MBE for services to the charity in the 2007 New Year’s Honours List
