Fire fighters rushed to a bakery factory in Wrexham after being alerted to the blaze at 8:41 on August 19th 2019.

The fire service sent three crews, eight engines and an aerial ladder platform at the height of the blaze.

The fire, which started in the production area of the building caused some difficulties for fire crews as the metal roof had fallen into the fire and they had to work carefully to remove the metal work to extinguish the fire correctly.

In a statement, the bakery said its staff were safe and the company’s three other bakeries were working as normal and the company was working hard to mitigate any disruption for customers.
